2025 IBM Fall Fest

Clemson was selected to be a satellite host for the annual IBM Qiskit Fall Festivals. These festivals are held at universities and academic institutions around the world in October and November. The goal is to educate students and the community about quantum computing and its potential. Our Fall Fest will emphasize interdisciplinary applications — we will include an introductory workshop followed by speaker sessions that touch on biology/medicine, finance/business, physics/chemistry, and computing.

Overview: Introductory workshops and hands-on Qiskit training for beginners.

Thursday, November 20, 2025, 5-6pm in Watt 000

Overview: Interdisciplinary speaker sessions — applications in chemistry, materials, and physics.

Friday, November 21, 2025, 5-6pm in Watt 000

Overview: Workshops for educators and a closing hackathon-style challenge.
